In the role you will be:
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that all construction projects meet profitability goals and meet or exceed client expectations
- Leading clients through an exceptional experience when building their home
- Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Preparing detailed construction cost estimates, purchase orders and change orders
- Developing and maintaining construction schedules in conjunction with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates
- Providing clear direction to team members to ensure project targets are achieved
- Facilitating project meetings with multiple stakeholders, anticipating stakeholder needs, and proactively identifying solutions to support ongoing projects
- Leading project teams to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for scope, quality, schedule and financial targets
- Maintaining, tracking, and reporting financial aspects of projects, including subcontractors, materials, coding, forecasts and billings
- Managing the procurement process, including subcontractor, trade, supplier negotiations and awards
- Supporting staff through coaching, professional development, team meetings and GSRs (Goal Setting and Review Meetings)
- Ensuring all NEPA Builders employees and subcontractors are communicating with customers in a professional and appropriate manner
- Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture
- Maintaining clean, organized and professional presentation of work sites
Experience required:
- History of managing all phases of a construction project from initiation to completion.
- Minimum of 5 years managing projects in the construction industry
- Experience with construction management software tools and current technology
- Experience with current building standards and technology
- Experience with local building code requirements and applications.

- Working alongside a construction crew (who primarily installs siding, decking, windows, and doors) to meet scheduling goals and meet or exceed client expectations
- Attending and providing input at project meetings with the lead carpenter and site superintendent and proactively identifying solutions to support the project
- Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture
- Maintaining clean, organized and professional presentation of work sites
Experience required:
- -High School Diploma or Equivalent Strong Math Skills
- Experience levels ranging from simple power tools experience to years of experience in the exterior carpentry field (ie siding, decking, windows, doors)
- Good physical strength and stamina

Lead Carpenter
The lead carpenter will have excellent leadership skills and be able to set an example in the workplace for the rest of the crew members to follow. They will have outstanding communication skills. The lead carpenter will need to work closely with our customers on job-specific details and must feel comfortable communicating their recommendations and explaining the work that is being done so the customer understands.
As a lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a variety of projects, including – new home construction, additions and renovations
- Managing and supporting carpentry staff, coordinating work with team members and sub-contractors
- Order materials as needed
- Coordinate work on-site and in office
- Assist in scheduling
- Answer questions and serve as a primary point of contact
- Read blueprints and complete tasks to client specifications
Requirements/Qualifications:
Three years of experience as a general contractor
Supervisor or Lead work experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to make decisions and recommendations Base knowledge of local building codes
High School Diploma or equivalent
Carpenter Apprentice
We are looking for an aspiring carpenter who can follow detailed directions. NEPA Builders will provide you with the technical skills needed to launch a rewarding career in the building industry. You will work under the supervision of our team members and assist them in their duties while gaining experience and understanding of the carpentry trade.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with construction and remodeling projects
Learn and practice essential carpentry skills on the job
Maintain a safe work environment
Set up and maintain tools needed at work sites for team members
Requirements/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong Math Skills
Experience with the use of power and hand tools
Good physical strength and stamina
